Our assignment is in two parts. The policies for blogs, social networking sites, and wikis can be found on the link located on the sidebar labeled "Policy." The general guidelines for blogs, wikis, and social networking sites can be found on the link located on the sidebar labeled "General Guidelines."
Just for our reference, here is our assignment:
Your groups should create a document that outlines a proposed policy (1-2 paragraphs) on the use of blogs, wikis, and social network sites, followed by guidelines for students and teachers/staff regarding the use of these technologies. The finished product should be no more than the equivalent to 3-5 pages. You do not need to restate your division's AUP but you may refer to it in your policy proposal. The policy should relate exclusively to the use of Library 2.0 technologies rather than to acceptable technology use in general.
